Laan Copes van Cattenburch 38, 2585 GB Den Haag, Netherlands

You’ll find the hotel tucked away in charming Archipelbuurt, a traditional Hague neighbourhood with many stately mansions and a whole lot of history. The Hague is the ideal city to plan a weekend away, and one not often visited by tourists, so you’ll likely find its sights quiet and peaceful. There’s Grote Markt, where you can venture to sample some local classics, Spui, one of the most historic districts of the city, and Binnenhof, the Dutch parliamentary buildings.

Admire art from the masters in the Mauritshuis, where the likes of Rembrandt and Vermeer adorn the walls, and visit the Gemeentemuseum or the Fotomuseum for more culture. You can even take the tram and or drive to Scheveningen in 10 minutes to relax on the beach, eat traditional Dutch herring or stroll along the boulevard.
