Villa San Filippo is conveniently located between Florence – the birthplace of the Renaissance and home to the world-famous Duomo and Uffizi – and Siena, a spectacular Medieval walled town famed for its magnificent cathedral and main palazzo. It sits within a short drive of some of Tuscany's most spectacular hilltop towns and villages and is located next to an equestrian centre that offers rides through the stunning Tuscan landscape. The medieval hilltop towns of Certaldo and San Gimignano – the latter of which is known for its towering Gothic skyscrapers – are well worth exploring.
